First Lady Minister Sallie L. Jones is founder of the Mustard Seed Kids puppet ministry she has been actively involved in puppetry since 1985.  The Mustard Seed Kids have traveled and performed throughout the United States, Bahamas and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.  She has taught at the Fellowship of Christian Puppeteers, One Way Street Puppet Festivals, Wolverine State Baptist congress of Christian Education, Saginaw, MI, the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education and numerous churches, public, private and Christian schools.

Mrs. Jones has written for Urban Ministries, a nationally known publishing company for Christian literature.  She is currently working on a workbook for training directors and puppeteers.  She has written a number of musical dramas for children and youth. 

She acknowledged her call into the ministry in 2003 and delivered her first sermon in September.  Mrs. Jones’ goal for children and youth ministry is to enhance their lives through music, puppetry and the arts for the glory of God.
